Introducing our 19th October Auction Sale

Welcome to this our eighth major national auction of the year with a catalogue of some 200 lots.  As you look through the sale either in the printed catalogue or online you will see that we are offering a host of opportunities located throughout the country.  I believe this is truly a catalogue containing something for all. From central London “Blue Plaque” investments, through to some really great refurbishment opportunities, there are some really great lots available with very attractive prices providing excellent profit making opportunities.

We also have a selection of commercial properties with tenants from Bupa Dental Services and Betfred through to government backed NHS investments, for those looking for great yields, secure income for perhaps pension of SIPP planning these are well worth taking a close look at.

There are also various parcels of land on offer dotted throughout the country, with land values rising all the time whether you are looking at your next “grand design”, a place to retreat and relax or, taking a longer term strategic investment view just remember, the one thing that has a definitive supply is land and many sites not considered ripe for development today may well hold real opportunities for the future and may well prove far more fruitful than leaving cash in the bank with no interest income and ultimately being eroded through inflation.

The really exciting news is that we are back on a real rostrum and conducting the sale live at our venue of The Grand Connaught Rooms.  Our first sale of this type was hugely successful with many bidders choosing to come and experience the sale for themselves at the venue rather than bidding by phone or on the internet.  Similar to last month we have taken all measures to ensure that the sale will be conducted in a Covid secure environment and many people attending the sale in September commented upon how surprised they were at the procedures we had put in place, far more than many situations such as shopping, theatre going etc but without in any way taking away the buzz and excitement of the sales in a pre Covid world.

Of course, if you would prefer to bid remotely you can do so either on the internet or via telephone but you must register and pay a security deposit by Friday 15th October at the latest.  For those attending the auction, you can pre-register if you wish or do so at the venue, please make sure you bring suitable ID documentation with you, and unlike those bidding remotely, you will not have to pay a security deposit if you are bidding in the room at the venue.

As always, it is important for you to carry out all your due diligence before the auction and remember, you are bidding to buy and have exchanged contracts when the gavel falls on your bid.  Many of the lots on offer have virtual viewings available via 3D tour or video tour.  Physical viewings are also available and these are listed against each lot on our website or in the insert in the printed catalogue.  With the evenings drawing closer we do have a tight schedule so if you have booked to view, please arrive promptly.

My team are here to help with all your enquiries in the lead up to the sale so please give us a call or send an email and we will respond promptly.  I very much hope you will chose to participate in the auction and come to the venue rather than rely on bidding remotely and, we look forward to greeting you with a warm welcome at The Grand Connaught Rooms on Tuesday 19th October.

Wishing you the best of luck with your bidding!
